Global Safe Technologies anti-slip overhaul of St Vincent de Paul

The St Vincent de Paul Society is well known for its outstanding charitable work helping the needy and the less fortunate. Global Safe NSW is honoured to announce that it was asked by management to assist the Society with floor safety solutions across their NSW / ACT head office. The challenge was that the office had various safety issues on different surfaces and preferred to deal with a single supplier who could cater for all the situations and their specific requirements. After providing a free floor safety assessment of the entire complex and discussing the Society's specific requirements, management gave the go ahead.

The actual work utilised several surface specific solutions. The tiled surfaces were anti slip treated using the Safe Solution® micro etching treatment. The stairs nosing utilised Global Safe Technologies unique, sustainable and outstandingly slip resistive Safe Grip product and the laundry area was resurfaced using the Floor Tuff Green environmentally friendly polyurethane anti slip coating. The Global Safe NSW team worked relentlessly to complete the work in all nominated areas within the agreed time frame. Now, the Society's facility is much safer for employees as well as for their clients and visitors as well as the aesthetical appearance of the place also got a major facelift. As the job has now completed, management is totally satisfied with the work quality, professionalism of the staff and the solution range the company has provided. They also appreciated the offer of the company's industry unique risk management program called the FSMP©, which will ensure that the cleaning staff will be fully trained in maintaining the floor as well as that the floor will be regularly inspected and the results reported.

As the program is offered to commercial clients at no additional cost in line with the Global Safe Technologies solution philosophy that is the treated floor is not only your concern, but it is our concern.

The FSMP© will ensure not only that the anti slip treated surfaces will remain safe now and in the future, but also provides full compliance with the recently introduced Occupational Health and Safety Code of Practice 2008.

To add some extra value to the work Global Safe Technologies Australia is contributing 2.5 percent of the job value to the Society as a donation in line with the company's Community & Charity Policy.
