Anti-slip solution by Global Safe Technologies for council playground,
Gold Coast

During the regular inspections, the public safety conscientious Gold Coast Council has identified a potential slip and fall risk for children at the Paradise Point recreational ground play station. The existing equipment surfaces which were originally anti slip coated by the supplier were badly worn off posing a risk for the children.

The Council had a previously well established relationship with their local floor safety specialist, Global Safe Technologies Gold Coast. They contacted the company to provide them with the solution for their issue.

After the initial site safety assessment, the Floor Tuff Green environmentally friendly polyurethane anti slip coating was proposed to the Council.

The Council was familiar with the proposed product which has been previously installed at various situations to their total satisfaction. They also knew well the company and its professionalism and had no problem going ahead with the proposed solution.

The council has decided to use the dark blue colour to go with the theme (a Boat) and as the playground is next to the water.

The job has completed on agreed time to the Council's total satisfaction. Council now can rest easy with the knowledge not only that the potential problem has been alleviated and that the treated surfaces now provide a sustainable safe environment for the children to play, but also that the aesthetical appearance of the play ground also improved quite dramatically.
