John Fawkner College high profile FIFA 2 Star installation up and running

The existing playing fields at John Fawkner College, in Melbourne's northern suburb of Fawkner, were typical of sports grounds around Melbourne, hard, bumpy and difficult to maintain due to lack of water. In a joint venture between the Moreland City Council and the College a FIFA 2 Star Synthetic Soccer Pitch, including floodlighting and fencing has been installed.

The College will use the facilities during the day and the community will have access during the evenings and weekend. The new facility is a fantastic addition to the local Fawkner community and further supports the Colleges popular Soccer Academy program.
