Dalsouple natural rubber floor tiles were installed in a patchwork pattern at St. Mary's new school hall in Greensborough early in 2011. The designer chose the smaller tiles of 340mm x 340mm x 2.5 for the floor, walls and ceiling in green, grey, bright green, brown and off-white.

The flooring gets a lot of use everyday with the children coming and going through the main foyer where Dalsouple was installed. The rubber tiles are protected by using a couple of thin coats of floor polish, then spray buffed to create a gloss finish. It is a common misunderstanding that rubber is hard to clean or it scuffs. Any floor scuffs but Dalsouple rubber floor is not hard to clean if you have the right instructions and the right cleaning products.

In a domestic situation, Dalsouple just needs damp mopping with a neutral cleaner. Dalsouple rubber has a 10 year guarantee but designed to last 15 to 20 years.
