The St Josephs College in Brisbane took a mixed approach to surfacing their new indoor sports centre, with a combination of Duralast Colour rubber flooring and PU Indoor Sports Surfacing throughout the facility.

Duralast Colour rubber flooring is an environmentally conscious flooring choice, with 70% recycled rubber content in the finished product, offering a range of advantages in various applications. Duralast is a highly versatile product, especially suitable for any environment exposed to extreme activities, such as gymnasium weight rooms, walkways, ice skating rink surrounds, change rooms and more. St Josephs College installed Duralast surrounding their indoor running track and in areas where weights would be used, as Duralast possesses excellent non-slip, non-scuff and wear resistance properties, making it the superior choice for this application.

The indoor running track in the sports centre is a PU Indoor Sports System product, designed especially for indoor sports surfaces. The PU Sports System is a unique combination of rubber underlay for cushion and impact, coated with PU-Sport wear and top coats for exceptional grip and durability. The line marking is a product of the PU Sports System, but also successfully installed over the surrounding Duralast Colour surfaces.
