Locating Post Tension Cables from Pennoscan

Cutting through Post Tension cables can be both very dangerous and extremely expensive to fix. For this very reason our client opted for a GPR Scan of the area before we commenced any Core Drilling work.

Our operators located a total of four PT Cables in the area (marked in pink) and also an unexpected electrical conduit running directly across the area to be drilled. As a result of our findings we moved the core holes forward and the proceeded to successfully core drill without striking any services or PT Cables.

By opting for the scan our client saved themselves a small fortune as we would have otherwise cored directly through the electrical conduit and possibly a PT Cable. Also by choosing Pennoscan for the work they saved time and hassle as we were able to take care of both the scanning and coring work.
