Scanning for Electrical Cables from Pennoscan

Pennoscan was contracted to locate and trace the position of a three phase electrical line that ran somewhere across Belmore Stadium in Sydney.

In order for it to be excavated so the line could be tested by an electrician Pennoscan had to provide the location and depth of the electrical line.

We used our utility location equipment to send a signal through the line that we could pick up with a receiver. This means we could trace out the location and the depth of the line with great accuracy.

We traced the line straight across the field. The location of the line was then marked with fluoro pink line marking paint.
