Thermally Efficient Home Additions from Nexus Home Improvements

It's amazing what can be done if when you step away from the inefficient traditional building methods of Brick & Tile.

The design brief here was 'Something Different, Fast and on Budget'. It's hard to believe 'budget' was even used in the design brief with the quality of the fit-out and finish!

Built in Spearwood on a cosy 250 metre block sits this thermally efficient, cost effective and superbly laid out 3 by 2. The key to the fast build time and quality look is down the timber frame building method.

All termite treated pine to ensure protection from those little critters and Air-cell insulation behind the cladding and full wall insulation also delivers an ambient feel maintaining a comfortable temperature all year round and with a reverse cycle air-conditioner to take the edge off on those extra hot days and cold nights.

Inside the floor plan has 2 double bedrooms with Built in robes, a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. Open plan living, dining and kitchen with high raking ceilings with high bay windows above the doors to the north, opening out on to a cedar lined alfresco area.

In the double lock up garage conveniently located is a 'European' style laundry and to finish it all off is a master bedroom and ensuite with double shower and WIR!
