MEA® DRAIN Solution Shallow channels are manufactured from industry-standard polymer concrete, noted for its light weight, mechanical strengths, dielectric properties, and resistance to deterioration. The structural makeup of the material exhibits nominal pores, allowing for virtually zero permeability to water, liquid chemicals and other harsh substances.
The preserved structural integrity of MEA® DRAIN Solution Shallow channels results in high facility to traffic loads, from Load Class A (10 kN) to Load Class G (900 kN). The load ratings of the polymer concrete shallow drainage channels exceed compliance with Australian Standard 3996-2006, specifying the requirements for the application of access covers and grates in pedestrian and vehicular areas.
MEA® DRAIN Solution Shallow can be supplied with a choice of stainless steel, galvanised steel or ductile iron edge rails. The polymer concrete shallow drainage channel is available at constant depths, from LZ/LS 1000, LS/LC 2000 to LS 3000.
