The owners' brief was for a fresh-looking kitchen with clean lines and easy-care surfaces. Polyurethane cabinetry in "Twiggy" is an excellent choice. Lustrous and bright, its reflective surface bounces natural light around the room.

Open plan in design, this modern and spacious kitchen contains all the elements needed to function at optimum level. Plenty of drawers and cupboards allow for the owners' storage requirements, with a walk-in pantry being the ultimate in organisation. The owners enjoy their cooking, so the provision of two ovens was a must; also, bi-fold doors on the small appliance cupboard allow for easy access to much-used items.

An interestingly angled custom-made breakfast bar provides visual interest, while stainless-steel appliances have been matched with stainless-steel handles throughout.

It's easy to see why this kitchen is just what the owners wanted. "The room has a beautiful light which is enhanced by the reflective gloss polyurethane panels in earth tones, creating a soothing and relaxing effect," say the owners.
