Interface - InterfaceFLOR™ provides 100% Green Star points for flooring with less paperwork

All Australian & US-made InterfaceFLOR products in every style now have the Good Environmental Choice Australia Label, so they automatically attract full Green Star points for flooring while reducing associated paperwork.

The Good Environmental Choice Label ensures that, when InterfaceFLOR products with Inter-Tac® adhesive are specified, they attract full points under the Green Star Rating Tool for both Flooring Material Mat-2 criteria and Indoor Environmental Quality criteria (low VOC emissions).

The Good Environmental Choice Label defines all InterfaceFLOR products as "Environmentally Innovative" eliminating the need for the product evaluation process. All products have already been assessed as meeting the Durability, Environmental Management Systems, Product Stewardship, Eco-preferred, Modular and Designed for Disassembly sections under Mat-2. The specifier only needs to provide one certificate to qualify for all available Mat-2 points.

Under Indoor Air Quality criteria, all InterfaceFLOR carpets meet the stringent requirements of the American Carpet and Rug Institutes Green Label testing and the more comprehensive Green Label Plus standard recently developed, the key criteria in attracting full points IEQ criteria points. InterfaceFLOR's exclusive Inter-Tac adhesive has also been independently certified as a low VOC product, meeting the Green Building Council's criteria. As a result, the Good Environmental Choice Australia Label ensures full IEQ Green Star points for flooring are available without the need for the specifier to undertake the verification process.

Furthermore, there is the potential to attract further points under the Innovation criteria if Cool Carpet™ 100% greenhouse gas offset is selected with InterfaceFLOR products.
