This year sees Pacific Hoists celebrate thirty one years as Australia's leading hoists supplier. As a family owned business we are proud of our achievements and the contribution we have made towards local Australian businesses and the local community in general. This year is no exception and to reinforce our commitment to the community Richard Crake shall be entering The Sydney Sun Herald "City to Surf" on Sunday 13th August. This challenging 14km run includes the infamous Heartbreak Hill, a 2km slog uphill towards the Pacific Ocean. The City to Surf is the largest timed fun run event in the world with entries this year to exceed 60,000.

The reason for his entry is to raise funds for the children at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The Children's Hospital does an exceptional job caring for patients ranging from newborn babies to adolescents. They come from all over New South Wales and sometimes other states and countries. The very sickest of children are treated at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The Hospital was built with the complete welfare of children and their families in mind and provides a total healing environment that looks after the whole child - from their medical care and support for parents and families to entertainment and activities that makes their day a little brighter.

Richard Crake is approaching all our valued distributors and suppliers alike to seek sponsorship for this event. All monies raised will be donated together with a significant contribution from Pacific Hoists; He would greatly appreciate your contribution in the form of a sponsorship pledge due upon completion of the event and event results published in the Sun Herald.

He will ensure that all contributors are included in all circulated material and have a mention on the Pacific Hoists website as well as receiving an award of recognition. The top ten donations will also have their logo featured on our website with a message of special thanks. For the company that offers the largest donation Richard Crake will wear your company hat, with your logo throughout the race and in all photography thereof.
