StoneClip feature at the UQ Centre, Brisbane

The project is the refurbishment of the UQ Centre which was bought on by the fact that the stone paneling (600mm x 350mm x 30 mm) started to fall off the building. It originally was fixed on with tile fix which could not carry the weight of the panels and started falling off the wall.

The new panels are being held in place with 6mm adjustable StoneClips. The project is being carried out by Qld Heritage Masonry, who are working in conjunction with PDT architects and the engineer involved with the certificating of the project, Roy B.Hoskins & Associates. The wall is around 6m high and there is around 350m² in the project.
