Actamatic grease converters from Dux Platinum - eco friendly liquid waste

The Dux Actamatic Grease Converter is an extension of a compact stainless steel grease trap as it uses fast acting, naturally occurring bacteria to converts water borne fats, oils & greases (FOG) into permanent, water soluble environmentally friendly liquid waste.

Trade wastes by definition are prohibited substances and as such, cannot be discharged into council sewer or storm-water drain without authorization. Treatment intervention is required

Bio-Remediation - nature's way simply enhanced by man - is a simple and effective method of removing much of our organic waste from the environment. This technology has been used around the world for over a quarter of a century, and involves the "speeding up" or "super culturing" of selected bacteria to degrade trade waste into an environmentally acceptable biodegradable effluent.

The Dux Grease Converter works in two ways. The separation (1st) stage allows the effluent to enter the converter, pass over the hydrafilter baffles, causing the grease to form into globules which float to the surface and solidify. This traps the FOG within the unit as any regular grease trap would.

However the next stage, digestion (2nd) stage introduces bio-remediation on a daily basis, micro-organisms, which degrade the waste and converts it into a permanent water soluble, environmentally friendly liquid waste. All in all, a grease trap PLUS a bacterial treatment process that is natural friendly to the environment.

Because the by-products are permanently water soluble, Pump-outs are minimal.

The Bio-Remediation formulation, Actamatic liquid uses only non-toxic, non-pathogenic, non-corrosive, prokaryote bacteria with no nucleus and very short DNA chains. None of the bacteria are considered "exotic". They occur in nature and have been on the earth for millions of years, being transported around the world over the centuries by jet stream and ocean currents, and are subsequently found in low numbers in practically all soils on every landmass on earth. These natural bacteria are "super-cultured" (not genetically altered) by a unique fermentation process know as "selective adaptation" to provide concentrations of active bacteria for specific tasks.
