MEGA 4 door access controller from ID-ME

The MEGA access controller enables online supervision of access and alarms in installations that require hundreds of thousands of users and events in memory. The MEGA is designed to exceed the highest level of security design expectations.

The MEGA offers a useful range of functions which can bring additional benefits to end users. The MEGA controller has a large 4MB RAM allowing a dynamic memory allocation between cardholders and it's event buffer.

The multitasking CPU allows firmware upgrade while simultaneously allowing the MEGA controller to keep on working. It also allows for simultaneous handling of access and alarm events. The high speed CPU allows extremely fast processing. For example, it takes less than 0.4 seconds to search through a 100,000 cardholder database.

The MEGA provides greater security with its reader sabotage detection feature, programmable communication encryption, and second redundant communications port. The MEGA32 also has a third communication port to enable connection to RS232 or RS485 readers.

High reliability is guaranteed thanks to its 6 layer PCB and numerous protections which enable the MEGA to function in the most adverse of environments.
