The VollayT V8000 NRS has been designed to provide an operable aluminium screening system to allow you to cover large balcony or entertaining areas, hard to reach windows or stairwells and glass roofing areas where shading or screening is required.

Design Brief
Provide a System with Blade options to blend with existing VollayT products as well as providing a different look to extend your design options. The Blades should be able to operate through 135° angle providing ventilation, shading and screening options for the window. To offer manual and motorised options to extend design options.

Solution
The system has a choice of 4 Blade options, curved and flat in either 90, or 150mm Blade widths. The curved blades are designed to have the external appearance of our 90 and 150mm Aerofoil Blades when closed, allowing the building to have the same texture and appearance when used in conjunction with other VollayT Aerofoil Blades.

The V8000's 135° of operation allows you to enjoy the warmth of the winter sun when in the fully open position, reflect light to increase the lux levels or allow screening from the summer sun when set at 90°.

This system can create a thermal envelope over your window by closing the Blades to dramatically reduce heat loss through the glass and the associated cost to replace the heat.

Provides a removable Crank Handle for manual operation of panel sizes up to 9m² and a maximum span of 3.0m. Our motorised option using our IP66 Rated European Motor allows you to interconnect and adjust large areas simultaneously and are operated either through a hard wired switch or connected to C-bus or similar Control System options.

Specification
The Blades and Blade Holders are manufactured from extruded aluminium to AS1866:1997 eliminating the maintenance problems other systems have using plastic blade holders which become brittle.
