Window Cleaning Technology from Access Maintenance Group

Pure Water Technology

For almost a hundred years the window cleaner has gone about his trade with little change, normally associated with dangerous work on ladders, this is no longer the case.... Introducing the safest way to clean glass!

So what is 'Reach & Wash' window cleaning technology?
Reach & Wash system allows us to clean window from the safety of the ground using long reaching poles. A soft-bristled brush is used to scrub the dirt off the glass, while jets of very pure water rinse the window. The pure water not only cleans the dirt off more efficiently, it also dries to a spot-free rinse as it has no impurities in it.

5 very good reasons for using 'reach & wash' technology!

  • It's safe
Working from the ground is rated as the safest method of performing and duty in accordance with the 'hierarchy of control.' Alternatively using a ladder is rated the least safe method and use over 2 metres is prohibited.
  • Quality Finish
Pure water technology - by name incorporates a process of filtering out the minerals and other contaminants normally found in water from the tap. It is the contaminants and chemicals that leave a spotty or streaky residue on the glass.
  • Environmentally friendly
Traditional window cleaning methods use chemicals or detergents to clean the glass. Pure water technology does not!
  • Window Frame Cleaning
The use of pure water technology enables frames or other facade panelling to be washed down. This enhances the appearance of the facade, but also has the additional benefit of maintaining the structure for years.
  • Efficiency translates to cost effectiveness
Traditional methods for cleaning glass at heights require either Elevated Work Platforms or Industrial Rope Access. Both of these methods have their place in window cleaning, but by nature of equipment and training are quite costly. Where Pure Water Technology is a suitable option the cost is notably reduced.
