TigerTurf Bowlsweave Synthetic Surface of Choice

bowling green surfacing

Lenswood Bowling Club, situated in the Adelaide Hills, east of the city, had no doubts about which surface they would choose when converting their existing natural grass green to synthetic.

The Committee and Members, under President Adrian Smith, voted unanimously for TigerTurf based on the experience of several members having bowled at other TigerTurf installations, notably Gawler and Port Elliott.

'The main reason for choosing TigerTurf was based on our experience having bowled at other TigerTurf installations, said Adrian. We are very pleased with the surface. Previously our grass green may not be ready in time for the start of Pennant in October so we would have to miss a few games but that will be a thing of the past'.

'Project Co-ordinator Warren Murdoch, said the club was impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of the installation team.

The small club, with 52 members and growing, funded the conversion cost and will immediately see benefits from the savings in maintenance costs.

In early December the club will host the 25th 'Warren Murdoch invitation fours' over two days consisting of 14 teams.

TigerTurf Bowlsweave is 100% UV stabilised polypropylene woven material and regarded as the elite surface of choice for most clubs. Bowlsweave provides a consistent and durable surfacing requiring minimal maintenance and provides comparable speeds to free running natural greens. Not to mention being available 365 days a year.

TigerTurf are proud of our 'one stop shop', operation, design, construction, installation and maintenance, all supported by highly trained and experienced employees.
