Midrail Clip Stone Cladding Fixing System from Stoneclip

We at Stoneclip have developed a new clip ( Midrail clip ) to allow the bottom starting point of any cladding to be of your choosing without the need to put in a temporary support while installing the first row of panels.

It adjusts out to a maximum 50mm cavity, so that it works with the same loadings as the adjustable Stoneclips already available. Initially it is available in the 8mm range and the other sizes of 10mm and 12mm will be phased in. It works in the restraint of the panel in two ways, as it supports under the panel and also by cutting into the panel at the back with a support at 45 degrees.

This cut into the back of the panel does allow the installer to also apply an amount of Epoxy Resin as an additional backward support as it restructures the panel around the Stainless Steel bracket that is cut into the back of the panel. It is designed to be used on both 20mm and 30mm panels as it has the bottom support at 18mm deep x width of 35mm and cuts into the back at 15mm deep. The infinite adjustment is done by the thread which is locked at both ends.

The clip is designed to be used by those installers who have a wet air cutter by Stoneclip as the cutter needs to be combined with the cradle to accurately put in the 45 degree cut in the right spot in the back of the panel.
