NEWS ARTICLE ARCHIVESFLOORChef Video from The Flooring & Finishes Expo MelbourneFlooring & Finishes finished Well, our first ever trade show in Australia - the Flooring & Finishes Expo in Melbourne - wrapped up last weekend and we managed to make it back home a little tired but definitely still smiling! The show proved to be a great platform for our introduction to the Australian market, with a nice mix of professional designers, applicators and even interested home/shop owners regularly stopping by. The whole event was extra special for us because not only were our systems on display for the first time, but we were also using it to launch two new menu items - the light and refreshing Starter, Sorbet, and the decorative anti-slip Main, Rock Salt. They both grab a short mention in the video below, however for a better look they are now uploaded on our website menu. Check them out! Looking back on the show now, it becomes clearer every time we showcase the FLOORChef systems that we're on the right track in both a product sense and, in particular, with our irresistible brand culture. Our bell-ringing, "Yes Chef!" singing, playful nature really connects with the audience and helps us stand out in what can be a dull environment at times. On this occasion we had an extra "sweetener" for the interested patrons that proved to be a real winner. Of course our old friend the service bell was back and running hot, however this time giving it a ding was rewarded with a mini pizza box giveaway containing a delicious bag of cookies and a light-hearted bumpersticker for people to remember us by. Our FLOORChef brand promise to "keep smiling" was definitely achieved as they all walked away with a full belly (what else would you expect from Chefs!) and a good chuckle. I think a few people who can back us up here are the Victorian FLOORChefs who warmly welcomed us to sunny Melbourne (it actually was beautiful weather, by the way). We certainly enjoyed catching up with everyone and genuinely hope they got something out of the show themselves. Thanks guys!
