In response to the increasing demand for an eco-event for the complete construction industry, Australian Exhibitions & Conferences (AEC) is pleased to announce the launch of FUTURE BUILD 2012.

With foundation partner the Master Builders Association of Victoria and endorsed by the City of Melbourne, Future Build will attract multi-disciplinary key decision makers, architects, specifiers, assets managers and facility managers from a broad range of industry sectors.

An all-encompassing event for the entire commercial construction industry, Future Build will take place from 2 - 4 October 2012 and will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Unlike current conferences that offer an exhibition, or trade shows that have accompanying seminars, Future Build offers a 'complete experience' shared equally between a significant, cutting-edge trade expo and a multi-conference/seminar program. New products and technologies from sectors including the commercial, education and healthcare construction industries will bring together sustainable building products + materials, lighting manufacturers, building technologies/systems, renewable energy, professional services and much more.

At the launch event last Tuesday Harvey Stockbridge, AEC Managing Director, said that Future Build offered both exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to develop important contacts and gain valuable knowledge in development of the building sector. "The launch is a long term commitment to our collective industry by Australian Exhibitions and conferences, one that will see Future Build become, we hope, the cornerstone on this sectors events calendar for many decades to come. Our expertise in these events and our understanding of the industry is unparalleled. We are excited about Future Build and look forward to seeing business and construction partnerships flourish at this imperative and well-timed event." Mr Stockbridge said.

Brian Welch, Executive Director at Master Builders Association Victoria, expressed his enthusiasm in supporting AEC. "Future Build is a multi-layered event that offers enormous educational opportunities and commercial outcomes for attendees and exhibitors alike.
