Located in the former bistro of the Grand Hotel on the Princes Highway in Rockdale, the Boschetto Cafe brings urban cool to the suburb of Rockdale. The cafe has been designed by Cloud Nine Design to be a comfortable place to gather for a coffee or a wholesome meal and has made a local hit.

The interior was stripped back except to the impressive art deco cornices, which are highlighted with dimmed LED lighting. A once echoing space has been tempered with a decorative American walnut effect DecorPly perforated acoustic ceiling, which has been quite a talking point with Boschetto's clientele.

The theme is eclectic, rustic and warm. Boschetto is Italian for wood; hence the references in the space, in both the imagery of cut logs behind the bar and recycled timber salvaged from the back of house works being used in the custom-built furniture.

The feature DecorPly perforated acoustic ceiling has brilliantly captured both the desired mood and the excess noise which had the potential to spoil the dining experience for patrons.
