Concrete Colour Systems - durable and attractive surface for the new Chancellor’s Place Precinct Queensland.

When the design team from Daryl Jackson Architects and Tract Consultants in Brisbane needed an attractive, safe and cost-effective surface for the new Chancellor’s Place Precinct at the University of Queensland, they chose coloured concrete from Concrete Colour Systems (CCS).
CCS pigments were chosen because of their durability, UV resistance and beautiful earthy tones. Three colours, out of the 60 standard available colours, were chosen. They melded perfectly with existing sandstone and rock walls, and were used to clearly define pathways and to provide a prominent access point to the campus. CCS also provides a custom colour matching service for architects and specifiers.
