Lifestyle Blinds & Shutters Artwood shutter series

Lifestyle Blinds & Shutters announce that their popular Artwood shutter series can now be supplied in special shapes to suit unusually shaped window openings (round, triangular, trapezoidal, hexagonal, etc). The Artwood shutter consists of an extremely strong and warp resistant laminated timber frame with a 4mm covering of ABS and solid ABS blades providing a very durable and knock resistant shutter panel with the look of timber and without the negative aspects of shutters made from MDF or vinyl. The frame is held together with mortise and tenon joints for maximum strength. This new program of shaped shutters joins the existing range of cedar and basswood panels which already allow for shaped panels as well as all methods of mounting regular shaped panels such as fixed, hinged, bi-fold and sliding.

Aluminium shutters will be available from Lifestyle Blinds & Shutters from mid August. These were first shown for comment at DesignEx in Melbourne this year and suggestions gained from that showing have been absorbed into the final design proving that Lifestyle do indeed listen to the marketplace. Standard blade is an 89mm aerofoil style and panels can be made up to 3000mm high with 1000mm wide for hinged and 1200mm wide for sliding. The aluminium shutter system will be similar to that used in Lifestyle's internal shutters with all components (other than tracking where required) included in a square metre price.

Lifestyle Blinds & Shutters announce its new Coffee range of sunscreen fabrics which provide day time privacy and sun control. Moving away from the usual monochromatic sunscreens, the Coffee range consists of several earthy tones each with a contrasting irregular pattern providing a functional, practical and fashionable means of controlling the climate.
