EcoVerta Protecta from Advanced Eco Technologies is the best at water saving and flow control

Following is a photograph of an actual EcoVerta Protecta installation. The unit is installed under the floor of a bathroom used only by a partially disabled person. (Another bathroom, not protected by an EcoVerta product is used by other occupants/visitors.) The unit services a shower and two hand basins. The bathroom is located approx. 30 meters from the HWG. In this case bypass water volume has been carefully measured and indicates an average diversion of 2.5 liters per cycle -depending on ambient conditions. This represents approx. 2.3% of total household (two persons) usage measured over several months. If translated into a 1 bathroom, 4-person household a 10% total saving of potable water is a realistic expectation.

In this particular case, the diverted water is passed by hose directly from the bypass outlet to a nearby group of thirsty shrubs.

Apart from the water saving, the installation of EcoVerta Protecta with it's inbuilt dynamic flow control, also allows other members of the household to use water at will without fear of scalding, or chilling, the occupant of the disabled bathroom. The general comment from the family using this device is that they feel much more comfortable with using water in bathroom than before the installation of the EcoVerta Protecta.
