Strong Tank
Made from 40mpa steel fibre reinforced concrete, your tank is manufactured for continuous reliable service. A watertight seal is ensured by one-pour casting and rigorous manufacturing processes that meet the requirements of AS1546.1.

Stainless Steel Pump
The pump works quietly within the tank to provide a constant supply of rainwater to the Rain Switch. Made from high quality stainless steel, Sydney Water Tanks' pump is designed to operate efficiently for long term performance.

Rain Switch
As the brains of the system, the Rain Switch automatically sources rainwater from the tank for your selected outlets, switching seamlessly to town water only when tank water is unavailable. Each changeover is indicated on the optional display panel, located in the Rain Switch Cabinet.

Sydney Water Tanks' Rain Switch complies with ATS 5200.477 and has been granted a WaterMark licence by SAI Global, Australia's premier quality assurance organisation.

Access Turret
The access turret houses the galvanised steel safety grid to ensure the safety of every member of your family. Just under the safety grid is the leaf filter, which keeps the water supply clean by ensuring that no debris enters the tank.

Bypass Pipe
The unique construction bypass pipe is provided to builders to ensure that no debris enters the tank during the house construction phase. The bypass pipe connects the inlet to the outlet, and is simply removed when construction is complete, so the tank is pristine when ready for use.

Flap Valve
The flap valve is installed in the overflow pipe to ensure that excess water can flow out to the gutter, but no water can flow back into the tank. This prevents the backflow of contaminated water and the infiltration of vermin into the tank.

Variable Turret & Inlet Depth
We calculate the best location and depth for your water tank to ensure maximum fall to the tank. This means that every drop is harvested for increased rainwater storage while eliminating sediment build up in the pipes.
