Tilt-up construction with C E Industries

One of the most effective methods employed in modern construction is the tilt-up method, where wall panels are poured in stacks on site and then lifted into position. Not only does it save time in areas where weather and site access can be a problem, it also saves money without sacrificing quality on the job. Laurence Lancini Constructions are one of the foremost exponents in this method of construction in Queensland and have used it almost exclusively throughout the north of the State. With landmark developments ranging from industrial, commercial and retail premises to a full tilt-up medium density housing estate, the Townsville-based company has a proven track record in tilt-up, being able to meet the requirements of almost any client.

Providing a suitable fire rating is vital in these situations, and C.E. Industries assists Laurence Lancini Constructions in this regard by supplying Bostik Fireban One polyurethane sealant. Fireban One is the only one-part fire-rated polyurethane on the market, providing up to four hours protection on both interior and exterior joints without the need for painting. It also allows + or - 25% movement within the panels, giving greater durability in joint design.
