Safe Grip stair nosings by Global Safe Technologies at the NZI Centre

NZI Centre - 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland is currently under consideration with the New Zealand Green Building Council to become one of New Zealand's Green Star Office Design buildings, with an up to 5 Green Star rating.

Global Safe Technologies NZ has been chosen to provide slip resistant stair nosing's. NZI prides itself on its commitment to lower its own emissions and encouraging its customers to follow their lead.

NZI Centre in Auckland has been designed to achieve New Zealand Green Building Council Green Star Office Design 5 Star rating. By innovative design it has ensured that this purpose built building meets their commitment to doing their part for climate change.

Global Safe Technologies NZ was selected by Development Manager, Newcrest Group Ltd, to apply their Safe Grip stair nosing's to the precast concrete exterior fire egress stairs for this new environmentally friendly building. Global Safe Technologies NZ product Safe Grip completely meets the NZ Building code requirements for slip resistance and luminance.

The product is perfect for this new building because of both its unique application and its longevity. By applying the product directly to the surface, bacteria can't build up between the stair surface and the stair nosing, as can happen with the alternative product options, such as the screwed down, glued on or adhesive strips.

Because of the unique application, the product doesn't require the same ongoing maintenance normally associated with other stair nosing products.
