Dow Styrofoam™ LB-X is manufactured through a continuous extrusion process, and as with all Styrofoam™ products posses a rigid closed cell structure with unique properties such as low thermal conductivity, high resistance to water penetration and high compressive strength.

Dow Styrofoam™ LB-X is produced in a range of thicknesses and is smooth on both facers. By placing the insulation outside the building mass it protects both membrane and slab from thermal cycling and loading.
