THE AUSTRALIAN DESIGN AWARDS is renowned for practicing some of the most rigorous design assessments across the globe. Arnos Hang-A-Plan QUICKFILE Product Description & Principal Function(s)
The aluminium loose leaf clamp or binder is the mechanism in the Arnos Hang-A-Plan filing system that enables the fast and effective vertical filing of plans, charts, drawings, maps and other large flat materials. Each binder can hold up to 150 sheets and is loaded onto a Hang-A-Plan Premium Front Loader Trolley for storage. This system allows large amounts of plans and drawings to be well organized and easily accessed using only a minimum amount of storage space.

The QUICKFILE Binder incorporates many new design improvements and patented technology that allows plans and drawings to be revised, filed and stored faster and easier than ever before. The combination of time saving innovations along with attractive cutting edge modern design and superior quality and construction make the QUICKFILE binder the most innovative and easy to use plan binder on the market.

The Hang-A-Plan QUICKFILE Binder is designed and engineered with the goal to improve and accelerate the process of filing and handling large plans and drawings. The performance enhancing and time saving patented cam lever quick release system plus the alignment extension has given the QUICKFILE binder true uniqueness among its competitors.

The QUICKFILE binder allows large plans to be filed with never before speed and precision. The ends of drawings are placed on the new extra long alignment extension for an easy-guided entry into the clamp. Once the drawings are in place they can be secured in the clamp with the quick "click" of the quick release levers.

The universal design is compatible with Hang-A-Plan front-loading trolleys, drop mount trolleys, wall racks.

Functionality:
The QUICKFILE'S unique design has proven to dramatically shorten the time needed to file and update plans and drawings. The index tab allows for easy filing and retrieval on trolleys or racks. Each binder has a large storage capacity and will carry up to 100-150 sheets weighing up to 7-9KG, depending on binder size. QUICKFILE binders are available in A0, B1and A1 sizes to suit small and large drawings.

Ergonomics:
The handle, quick release levers, lever bases, and the index tab are made from very durable and strong glass filled nylon. Glass filled nylon is much easier and warmer on hands than metal components and has the added benefit of being lighter. The end caps are made from polypropylene and ensure the binder won't scratch desks and will protect the binder and equipment from accidental impacts. The carry handle has been designed and affixed in a centred position to allow for perfect weight distribution and balance for the transportation and filing on trolleys and racks. The shape, size and positioning of the handle enables the binder to be transported and loaded onto a trolley or rack with the least amount of strain to the user. All binder sizes feature a carry handle that is positioned at the center of the binder for balanced weight distribution.
