Soft & subtle designer neutrals for the fashion conscious - Austral bricks

Every day we make fashion statements whether it's the style of clothes we wear or the cars we drive. Now, Austral Bricks have launched Urban One, a range of soft and subtle designer range bricks to complement contemporary residential designs.

The new Urban One series is being described enthusiastically by designers as warm, sophisticated and stylish. The seven neutral colours of Urban One certainly create a visual balance by harmonising with stone, timber or render.

Eve Castle, marketing manager - Austral Bricks Queensland, says the Urban One range is young and fresh and will reflect the ideals and aspirations of young homebuilders.

"With designer neutral colours such as Almond, Cane, Chocolate, Macadamia, Olive, Plum and Silver providing the perfect backdrop to walling materials such as our Elements Series glazed bricks, Urban One is breaking new barriers. Urban One colours also blend beautifully with each other" said Eve Castle.

Almond, a creamy beige, is the lightest colour in the Series providing a classic neutral backdrop to other shades. You can be more daring with Cane, a colour you will warm to. It injects a hint of yellow into the beige background colour.

Chocolate is - as the name suggests - a warm, rich brown with the slightest hint of red for special effects. Then there's Macadamia with its light brown hues creating the scene for other natural materials such as timber and stone.

Subtle and stylish, Olive is a mid brown, with a hint of green, to accentuate home architecture. Unsurprisingly, Plum is a beautiful, burnt red brick with an undertone of mid brown to infuse warmth and style.

Finally there is Silver, a pale and interesting brick that will add sparkle and will set the design tone.

As with all Austral bricks the Urban One series boasts inherent strength, is colourfast and requires very little maintenance, qualities that help them last a lifetime.
