Sustainability specifications, criteria and compliance for Australian Building Products - Electronic Blueprint

With a view to ensuring consistency of sustainability assessments and reporting for Australian building products, Electronic Blueprint has developed a draft Standard, and is currently proceeding with the necessary steps to encourage its national adoption.

The aim of the standard is to define the sustainability specification requirements, sustainability performance criteria and the methods of demonstrating compliance for building products intended for use in Australian buildings. This Standard is compatible with the requirements of, and is intended for use with, the Building Code of Australia and the Standards referred to therein. It is also compatible with the requirements of ISO 14024.

Electronic Blueprint is seeking constructive comment and feedback on the proposed methodology specified in the draft Standard. Please access the complete draft at:
