Grip Guard non-slip treatment is suitable for all stone-based floor surfaces including: tiles, including ceramic, quarry, terrazzo, marble granite, and porcelain as well as concrete and aggregate. The Grip Guard non-slip process that treats floors to make them more slip resistant - especially when wet. All surfaces are tested for slip resistance using an ATSM slip meter prior to treatment. Following treatment, slip resistance measurements are again taken and included on the Grip Guard warranty. The standard Grip Guard warranty is two years. While it is expected that the Grip Guard non-slip treatment will continue to be effective beyond this time period, this term allows for the wear and tear in areas where vehicular traffic occurs.
After Care However, it is essential that floors are kept clean and free of debris or contaminants. If, for example, in a kitchen application, the treated floor areas becomes covered with a buildup of fats, this will effectively create a barrier between the Grip Guard treated surface and the foot. The floor surface will continue to retain the anti-slip qualities achieved using Grip Guard treatment but they may be ineffective if a buildup of fats/contaminants is allowed to accumulate. Grip Guard has two after care products available to clients, Traction Guard and Traction Guard PLUS (for very greasy environments). While not essential, each of these products has been formulated to eliminate contamination and increase slip resistance. Grip Guard floor safety solutions are available throughout Australian including Victoria (VIC), South Australia (SA), Western Australia (WA), Queensland (QLD), Tasmania (TAS), and the ACT. |
