Megaman Energy Saving Lamps in Chatswood Library

Willoughby City Council's Chatswood Library, located in the Mandarin Shopping Centre, changed to Megaman energy saving lamps as part of their commitment to reducing their ecological footprint through reduction in emissions, resource use and environmental impact.

Megaman's 15,000 hour 11 Watt GU10 CFL warm white lamp and Reflexo downlight replaced 50 Watt Halogen lamps saving 11,212kg CO2 emissions and 14,198 kW of electricity per year.

Megaman's 15,000 hour 11 Watt GU10 CFL significantly reduced lamp maintenance cost over the halogen 2,000 hour 50 Watt lamp and air conditioning heat load.
