Kerlite Plus can be laid directly on old floors in wood, ceramic or other compactsurface materials. The back of each Kerlite tile has a tight-knit fiberglass mesh lining. As well asproviding added resistance and excellent heat conduction, the mesh backing ensures the tile will stickfirmly to the adhesive spread on the substrate.

Being lightweight, new Kerlite Plus overlay flooring will add very little weight to the existing floorslab. Only slightly thicker than the un-backed version (3.5 instead of 3 mm), Kerlite Plus allows you torenovate your home without the dust, noise and cost of demolishing and laying a new screed. There'sno need to adjust doors or skirting boards either, and it saves the expense and trouble of movingpermanent fittings.
