Sydney Awnings installs SeaShell Retractable Awning at Cronulla Beach

This SeaShell retractable awning was recently installed at Cronulla a popular beach side suburb south of Sydney. Not only does the SeaShell awning look great and provide generous shade and rain protection, but it is incredibly strong. It is capable of easily handling strong gusty winds so common in many sought after Sydney coastal suburbs.

The SeaShell is the only retractable awning known that meets Australian standard AS4055 for wind strength. This awning will remain open and stable in winds of up to 60 km/h, after which it automatically self retracts to its secure and locked position. The SeaShell Awning can be configured to any degree of a circle and comes in a variety of sizes up to 10.4 metres in diameter. It can be fitted along flat walls or gable roofs in a semi-circular shape and yet easily adapted to snugly fit into corners.
