Decorative Wrought Iron Door from Wrought Artworks

These graceful double partition doors are the latest commission by Wendie McCaffley of Wrought Artworks.

Featuring bevelled glass panelling and hot-forged iron decorative detailing, the doors speak of quality and sophistication from a bygone era. Inspired by a 1920s original, the door has been fitted with screws and notched joins, avoiding welding and grinding.

Handmade cast bronze gumnuts adorn the doors, as well as bronze curling handles and layered closing strips. Patinated in Wrought Artworks' tradmark bankers bronze finish, the doors are an elegant and timeless addition to this clients home.
