Austral Clothes Hoists Pty. Ltd. is the result of an enterprising business initiative by 3 people, dating back to 1987. Dennis Skerry, John Anderson and Walter Genesin combined forces to build Austral's first manufacturing plant in White St., Mordialloc. Austral's main objective has always been to manufacture the best quality Australian Made Clothes Lines possible. Initially, much thought and testing was done to ensure the structural designs and components would survive Australia's harsh climate.
