This major redevelopment of the existing tertiary hospital is now one of the largest projects of its type in Australia. All key elements of this new facility are designed to create an environment of wellness with corresponding optimum clinical efficiencies.

An important feature of the main entry podium is the DecorImage Acoustic Panels by Decor Systems Australia. Key challenges in the design of this area were the large areas of 'hard surfaces' and the affiliated noise control issues.

The DecorTrend panels not only addressed the potential acoustic problems, but added a visual dimension that complements the overall ambience of this innovative development.

The Décor Systems Specila Projects Team liaised closely with the Architects Liverpool Hospital, Construction Managers and Austem Interiors, right from the design stage right up until the last panels were on-site measured for customised installation - truly a team effort.

The panels were pre-finished in DecorImage Tasmanian Oak and White, offering substantial cost savings both in the supply cost and in the elimination of on-site finishing.
