Protégé Multi-Gas Monitor Now Available in Australia!

Scott Safety announces the introduction of the Protégé - a feature-rich portable multi-gas monitor for industrial applications. This easy-to-operate, easy-to-maintain gas monitor is tough and rugged for use in harsh environments, yet lightweight enough to make it ideal for everyday work activities for the detection of oxygen, combustibles, hydrogen sulphide, and/or carbon monoxide.

The Protégé uses a tri-alarm warning system. The user is warned through dual bright red LED visual alarm, piercing 90bB (@15cm) audible alarm and vibrating alarm, making the Protégé suitable for noisy and harsh environments. All visual alarms and operational readouts are easily viewable on the instrument's large LCD screen with a convenient backlight.

Applications for the Protégé are varied ranging from Petrochemical, oil and gas, industrial and first responder emergencies. The Protégé is also compatible with several "must have" accessories. These accessories provide multi-monitor charging, remote sampling, automated bump test and calibration.

- The Multi-Charger enables users to charge up to six Protégé gas monitors simultaneously

- The Pump Kit comes with a parasitic sample draw pump, 30cm probe with dust and water filter and 3m Tygon sample tube

- The Masterdock is an automated calibration and bump test station. This unit uses 103L, 58L or 34L cylinders and is battery or AC powered. With the Masterdock, calibration is a one-touch operation, facilitating easy maintenance.
