Community Project Appreciation Video from FLOORChef

An important part of the FLOORChef model is our community focus. Through this feature of our business we offer on-going support to selected charities, participate in fundraising events and help organisations on a limited budget address their flooring needs.

Despite only launching late last year, we're proud to have already helped out in a couple of these types of projects.

In December 2011 a flooring solution was found for Friends of the Earth, an organisation with the mission of "working towards the creation of an ecologically sustainable and socially just society through community action." With a very tight budget they were looking for pretty much anything to cover their patched concrete floor, however through heavily discounted materials and the generous work of a few FLOORChefs we were able to install a customised Metallic Baste design instead. They never dreamed their offices would look so good!

A few months later, in May 2012, FLOORChef was approached by the United Christian Broadcasting (UCB) group in a similar predicament. They needed a robust floor to handle their heavy foot and trolley traffic, while at the same time brighten their work space. Once again FLOORChef was able to make things happen within budget constraints, this time dishing up The Soup with fantastic results.

The UCB were so grateful and thrilled with their new floor they created a free FLOORChef radio advertising campaign on their station to say thanks.
