The cutter is a air/ water machine driven by a 12 cfm compressor. It puts a cut into the panel of 28 mm deep. The third image in the above shows the panel with the indents in it ready to have the 8 mm router indents put into it to give a finished depth of 5 mm joint when installed. The following images show the router machine with the 8 mm bit in it. The panel with Top & Bottom clips installed into the bottom of the panel, ready for installation. The showing 2 of the intermediate panels with the 8 mm shafts installed into place. Also showing the clearance under the shafts when they will be in place and carrying the load of the panel above - this is important. ![]() These last images show the tight fit of the disc on the shaft fitted into the indent in the panel. The excess cut either side of the disc can be filled with silicone. This shows the only extent of the cut out with the router to accommodate the 8 mm shaft.
