Co-Generation Solution for RSPCA from Urban Energy Australasia

Urban Energy has provided a Co-Generation solution to the largest animal shelter in the Southern hemisphere.

The RSPCA Sydney Shelter (in Yagoona) is the largest animal shelter in the southern hemisphere, caring for over a 1000 dogs and cats. The Sydney Shelter is also home to a variety of other animals including birds, rabbits, goats, horses, chicken and ducks. This facility recently underwent a major renovation and Urban Energy was engaged to resolve their energy requirements.

Urban Energy supplied a 30kw Co-generation package for the recently renovated RSPCA Sydney shelter. The system that Urban Energy designed, supplied and installed provides the shelter with electricity, heating, and hot water with a staggering 97 tonnes average yearly CO2 saving.
