Marine Composite Battens from Rightwood

Rightwood Marine Composite Battens are 32mm thick wood plastic composite material battens which are manufactured in USA from 50% recycled timber fibres and 50% high density polyethylene for the ultimate combination of high strength, enduring quality and low maintenance with less impact on the environment.

Able to span up to 900mm between uprights in screening applications, Rightwood Marine Composite Battens are simply face-fixed to a sub-frame using countersunk screws which along with its low maintenance and long lengths make it the ideal product for park furniture, fence battens and other public or council projects.

Rightwood Marine Composite Battens are extruded using patented 'Strandex' technology and are exactly the same colour material right-through with an attractive brushed finish on one side and a wood-grain finish on the other side providing an extremely durable material which requires virtually no ongoing maintenance.
