The Construction Materials Industry conference in Melbourne proudly showcased Adbri Masonry

The Cement, Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) and The Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA) joined forces for the first time to hold this event in Melbourne last week. The theme of the conference was Partnering for the Future, which reflects the developments in the construction materials industry in Australia.

The construction materials industry is a powerhouse in Austraila's economy employing over 18,000 Australians in a $60 billion building and construction industry. As such, cement, concrete and extractive products form a vital and enduring foundation to Australia's built environ.

Key industry leaders and decision makers from the Australian and International construction materials industry community plus government representatives gathered to discuss trends, strategies, policies and industry options.
