Features

• The exceptional slip resistance makes the slabs safe to walk on.
• The flat and regular finish gives a safe and comfortable walking surface.
• SandRok slab finish is like sawn stone and JavaRok is pitted like volcanic stone.
• The consistent thickness (+/- 3.0 mm) of slabs and edges makes handling, laying and walking easier.
• The colours of both JavaRok and SandRok are variegated blends of colour which vary from product to product just like natural stone. Some will be multi-coloured and some may be one colour. Some are lighter, some are darker.
• Colours shown on the brochure should be taken as indicative only, not exact.
• There are 2 shapes in each of the large and small sizes of JavaRok and SandRok slabs. Edges come in one shape.
• Large and small slabs can be combined in paths and stepping stone walkways to give an almost random look.
• Any order for a given size of slabs will have random numbers of the two different shapes for that size.
• Slabs can be used as paths or stepping stones and can be surrounded by pebbles, bark, ornamental grasses or lawn.

Installation & Care

• Best results will come from laying slabs and edges on a small bed of wet concrete or sand/cement but they are strong enough to be laid on just a sand bed.
• All pieces have an anti-efflorescence treatment to reduce the lightening due to white salts but colours may darken or lighten due to water or efflorescence. Refer to the technical tab on our website for detailed info on efflorescence. We give no explicit or implied guarantees with respect to efflorescence and colour change.
• High pressure water blasting, acid cleaning and vigorous scrubbing can affect the appearance esp on JavaRok.
