Mini Crane Maeda 405 for Restricted Spaces from SVSR Mini Crane Hire

SVSR Mini cranes recently installed glass panels for Construction giant Brookfield Multiplex in Sydney, NSW.

SVSR's Maeda MC 405 carried out 17 lifts at the Multi-Storey Site for sub-contract glaziers Newstyle Glass Pty Ltd over 3 consecutive weeks.

At only 3.8 Tonne and with a reach of 21m (with fly jib), the versatility and maneuverability of the Maeda 405 proved invaluable. SVSR set up the Maeda 405 on the roof of the new building, where it was quickly and easily able to lift the bulky glass panels into place.

SVSR's Project Manager Scott Reynolds said, " The 405 is the perfect crane for this type of job. It's great for heavy lifting in tight and restricted areas such as this multi-storey building site. A larger crane would have blocked the busy road out the front and cost Multiplex thousands, but none of the smaller mini cranes have the 405's reach and lift capacity in tight spaces. Being able to operate the Maeda 405 from the roof top was the perfect solution".
