Infra-Red HMI Lunar lights are designed for military and surveillance purposes. They create enough non-visible light to illuminate 50,000m2 - objects and movement in area can be clearly seen, using infra-red goggles and CCCTV cameras.
To the naked eye, the night is normally black. But with simple infra-red goggles or cameras, the landscape is startlingly bright.
Most important is the glare free character of Lunar lights - they create a diffused glow which is shadowless and startlingly clear.
Infra-Red HMI Lunar Lights have been tested by NATO for military purposes - night-time perimeter surveillance, border control, traffic movement. They gained NATO product approval, and have been in use in these applications.
