'Olives, extra cheese & a printer to boot!' - Coleman Group offer cutting edge signage solutions.

"the pizza machine"

The Coleman Group recently invested $1million in the most state-of-the-art printing machinery.

Managing Director Glenn Coleman and his team viewed the latest printer technology in locations around the world before finding a machine to fit their requirements in the United States.

The new state-of-the-art, eight-colour printer has been affectionately dubbed "the pizza machine" for its resemblance to a pizza oven and the way in which it is operates.

The printer operators received specialised training in the US before it was shipped to Coleman's offices in Canterbury.

"You are able to load surfaces up to 50mm thick, including a whole range of material such as corrugated iron, and it simply comes out printed at the other end," Managing Director Glenn Coleman said.

The machine's capability to print direct to surface means the Coleman Group is able to offer its customers a new range of printable options aside from the normal coated stock.

"Also we can improve our delivery time to customers because this new machine can print direct to surfaces and so it effectively combines the 3 processes
(printing > laminating > mounting) into one.

Glenn said the Coleman Group understood the importance of investing in technology to be able to offer its customers the most up-to-date signage solutions.
