The public have become star struck with the glistening, festive effects of Hot Metal® during day and night. And no wonder! There are 40 large star decorations fixed to smart poles adorning this popular city location for Christmas 2005 and the New Year.

Each impressive decoration consists of 8 individual stars laser cut from 2mm aluminium sheets, finished in the exciting random pattern and coloured in authentic season colours, Fire Fly Red, Chartreuse and Gold. During the night the stars are illuminated with a series of lights that are set within each star making the Hot Metal® stars twinkle.

This project was a collaboration of design excellence provided by Chas Clarkson and manufacturing know-how supplied by STEW® Pty Ltd. Chas Clarkson an established and successful events company believe that Hot Metal®'s applications are wide and diverse and are beyond sheeted laminate. This project is a fine example showcasing Hot Metal®'s creative design scope especially within the display, event, exhibition and signage industries, where the "wow factor" really counts.
